Draft for review. This text describes how the app is built today; have it checked by a lawyer and fill in the legal name and contact details before the App Store submission.

Using Taskeen

These terms apply to the Taskeen app and this website, provided by Zetage ("we", "us"). By using Taskeen you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What you may do

You may use Taskeen for your own personal, non-commercial recitation and memorization. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

The Quran, translations and supplications

Taskeen displays the Arabic text of the Quran, translations by named translators, and supplications from third-party sources. We do our best to present them faithfully, but errors can occur in transcription or transmission. For anything you rely on in worship or scholarship, please check an authoritative printed copy or ask a qualified scholar. If you find a mistake, tell us at support@zetage.com.

Texts and recordings belong to their respective authors, translators, reciters and publishers, and are used under their licences or terms. Credits are listed on the support page.

Your progress

Your progress and settings are stored only on your device. We cannot recover them if you delete the app or lose your device.

Third-party services

Some features load content from services we do not control (see the Privacy Policy). We are not responsible for their availability or content.

No warranty

Taskeen is provided "as is", without promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. When we make meaningful changes to the terms, we will update the date above. Continuing to use Taskeen after a change means you accept the new terms.
